CORA comes to City A on her own to look for her relatives, and there she meets EVAN, a wealthy son who has broken away from his family. An unexpected roommate-and-coworker arrangement brings them together, and love quietly grows, but EVAN’s father stands firmly in the way. Just as they decide to leave together, EVAN’s father is attacked and killed. Misled by others, EVAN believes CORA planned everything. Overcome by sorrow and fury, he stabs CORA and awakens an ancient curse, causing both to lose their memories. Seven years later, fate pulls them together again in City C. By then, EVAN is the group president, and he is drawn to CORA for reasons he cannot explain. Through repeated clashes and reluctant closeness, love finds them once more.
