Daddy, Your Little Angel Is Gone

Episode 11

Christmas Eve should have been a night of reunion, but for six-year-old Sia it became a nightmare. Bleeding on the floor, she called her father Miles for help, only to hear him dismiss her mother’s danger as another scene and let Joel hang up on her. Then a strange golden light offered her a choice: save her mother, but forfeit three years of the love of a father and daughter in another world, while this world records her as dead. Sia signed the deal and asked only for a proper goodbye. What followed was cruelty at every turn—a false theft charge, a mastiff, a freezing pool—while Miles kept choosing the “little sister” over her. When the countdown reached zero, Sia disappeared. Afterward, the hidden truth came out: the car crash, deleted evidence, the mistress’s plan, and the kidney behind his wife’s fate. Mile by mile, the pieces fit together, until Miles realized he had taken part in the death of his own child. Three years later, he found his dead wife and daughter beside Grant Sterling, smiling as if they had never been gone. He ran to them, but only received laughter and averted eyes. Is there any forgiveness left for a man too late to understand what he lost? Through the car window, Sia looks back at the father weeping behind her, just as her mother once told her: look back, and you’ll know.
