Iris takes charge of a hostage rescue operation, only to be obstructed by Mirelle, her husband's assistant, who fixates on the passenger count and demands Iris jump from the helicopter. Backed by Lucien, the two drag out the mission as they mistake the hostage for Iris's family. Given a second chance after a fatal fall, Iris no longer stops them. When the hostage is uncovered as Lucien's father, the pair is left to face relentless hatred and ruin.
