Part 1: The Infamous Guide Background Introduction

A World Full of Fantasy

In The Infamous Guide, there were Sentinels and Guides. But the ratio of Sentinels to Guides was crazy. Those who awaken as Guides were mostly women, but they were extremely rare. Strong Sentinels guarded the borders and only Guides can calm their psychic rampage. But with millions of Sentinels in need of guidance, there were far too few Guides to meet the demand. The few who existed were forced to shoulder an overwhelming mental burden, and many women Guides died from mental exhaustion soon after reaching adulthood. As a result, many Guides chose to hide their true levels.

But the original host did the opposite. She had no psychic energy at all. However, not only did she claim to be S-Rank, but she also took in high-level Sentinels. Just because in the galaxy, the higher the Sentinels' ranks were, the more handsome they were. She kept these collapsing Sentinels and tortured them. Then she'd just use some unknown inhibitor and called it a day.
